The story of Scribble Worlds
We love playing games - board games, role playing games, and trading card games such as Magic the Gathering. We also love drawing and making things, and have always drawn cute characters for our DnD sessions. Isa was stuck in a line waiting for something with nothing but a graph paper book and a 20-sided die... a few explorations later, and the game mechanic was born!

So there I was, reading the Wall Street Journal while having my breakfast, and I realized that if I was going to be a billionaire before I was a teenager, I'd have to get on the job! So I sat down and started thinking hard about what I could make that would be fun and amazing for the world. Presto - Scribble Worlds it was! My brothers might claim it was their idea, but it was totally mine. I'm pretty sure I'll be a billionaire any moment now, then it's candy and video games forever!

Don't listen to Levi, I'm the real brains of the outfit! I was out one day just parkouring around, somersaulting down some hills, when I bumped my head especially hard and invented Scribble Worlds.
In all seriousness, I got excited when Isa showed me the Scribble Worlds game mechanic, so I started designing the game content for it - monsters, items, and so on - as well as playing it to see how to make it more enjoyable.

Ideas are cheap, execution is hard! It is true that I came up with Scribble Worlds while waiting in line, but it has transformed a lot since then. Everyone has great ideas - sticking with them, evolving them, and figuring out how to make them real is the hard part. We have all worked hard to get the idea to where it is today.
The spinner was a huge idea. Our original game used dice, but those are not easy to carry around. I 3D printed a spinner with a DnD dice set on it, and realized I could fit that inside of a notebook. Then I realized that the spinner could point at the next game tile, and we were on a roll (or a spin...).

Anyone can make their own Scribble Worlds activity book! You can even make one using all the same contents we have in our original book here - and print your own expansion packs! We provide instructions and files so you can print, cut, and assemble your own activity books. If you have access to a laser cutter, we even have files so you can make your own spinners. All we ask is that you don't sell these books - make them for fun, not for profit (see our lawyer cat below for details). And share what you've made with us - we love to see it!

We learned about Copyright and Trademarks
We might just be kids, but we are GENERATION Z KIDS! ZOOMERS! We have totally non-cringy and non-cheugy humor. At least that is what our parents say. And they love us or something, so they're totally not biased.
Anyways, we used this thing called the internet to learn about Patent, Copyright, and Trademark rights and protections, and then we used all that knowledge to apply the lawyer cat ninja skills of patent, trademark and copyright protection to our contents here. All of the images on this site, and in our various decks and products, are all copyrighted by us, with all rights reserved. We even applied for a patent on the activity book, as well as trademark protection for Scribble Worlds™ so that we can put that cool little ™ on it, and so that you can't use it to sell your own knock-off cut-rate black market version. And so that poor little Levi can be a billionaire before he is a teenager.
Make your own - but don't compete with us! We love the idea of people making their own Scribble Worlds books, which is why we have shared instructions, files, and contents to help you do that. You are welcome to use our copyrighted material and trademarked phrases to print and make your own products for your own families and friends, but you are not welcome to sell them - no commercial uses allowed. If you create an amazing expansion pack - reach out to us and we would love to resell it on our store!
